Hi, Last week I decided to try on the Directx 10 preview option and when I start FSX everything works well until I hit fly now, my screens start’s flickering (black screen flickering from one screen to another) and I never get to have the first normal screen. During the flickering period, if I hit ESC key I get the end of flight menu and I am able to go back to the setup free flight screen. I have 4 screens connected to 2 video cards (GTX 480 and GTX 8800). I know they both support Directx 10 and I am running W7 64 bit ultimate. I am also using a Triplehead2go (analog) matrox box. If I put the preview option off, everything works find. Anyone add that problem before? Any hint would be appreciated Pierre

You found out the hard way that DX10 Preview doesn't work well in FSX. Most people leave it off as not very much of FSX was programmed for DX10. DX9 works just as well and even better in FSX. I have found you do get a few more FPS with DX10 turned on though but it's best left off as there's just too many anomalies with it on. Best regards,Jim

Hi Jim I am in the process of buying a new motherboard and I was looking at the one you have P8P67 deluxe, do you recommend it? Also I would like to overclock a I7 2600K to 4.5 ghz, would this be a long adjusting process, I am new to overclocking CPU. Thanks Again
