Hi, I disabled the vertical synchronizing at the Nvidia control panel / 3D settings / manage 3d settings / program settings for FSX, I think it reduced it so much.I hope that does help as I do have similar system as yours, only a second recommendation besides to get a new one :) is to get 4MB of RAM at leastBest of luck
