  1. Hi I did experience a similar problem. Mine was solved when reinstalling FSX and NGX on an other location then previous. Maybe that helps you as well. If that's the case i think something is messed up in the registry after reinstalling fsx and NGX. Good luck,Jeffrey
  2. Just to be sure Service pack 1& 2 are installed for FSX?Did you reinstall everything on the same location as before?I did had the exact same problem and couldn't figure it out as well. The only thing that helped was installing everything on a different location. When unistalling the PMDG from FSX where all files and folders from PMDG removed? Regrads, Jeffrey
  3. Hi there, did had the same problem after reinstalling both fsx and NGX. Do you have both service packs installed for FSX?My problem was solved after reinstalling fsx on a different location then default.Regards,Jeffrey
  4. Something else I forgot to mention:If the NGX is parked and i want to look around in either the VC or outside the sim stutters as well.As soon as I press the Pause button I am able to look around in de VC and outside smoothly without any stutters. Hopefully this helps solving this issue, Regards, Jeffrey
  5. Oke guys, itried again some tweaking. Used the NVidia inspector and set it up as prescribed somewhere elso in the PMDG forum.Check task manager during operations of FSX :NGX plane all sliders set to minimal or low:CPU usage is around 30%Mememory:3071 MBIn Cache: 1411MBAvailable: 1496MBFree: 144MBNo other programs use CPU according task manager. So I don't think it's a hardware problem, but something within FSX and NGX.Any help please, getting kinda desperate! Regards, Jeffrey
  6. Hi guys, Single taxi IN is advertised by the majority of airlines in europe. On the NG you don't need apu for bleed or power. One generator is able to power the plane and by opening the isol valve you will have pressure on both ducts. During taxi out it is not adviseable as you need the engine to stabelize and monitor al systems to operate normally. In real time you'll need aprox 30% of N1 on one engine to maintain speed. Not sure in the sim though!Good luck trying,Jeffrey
  7. Currently not able to check all of that, so will do that first thing tomorrow. But if another program is using my CPU, shouldn't that be noticeable flying other addons as well. Or does the NGX require significantly more then for example the md11, that the md11 runs smooth @ 25 fps and the NGX stutters?Regards,Jeffrey
  8. If the stuttering is due to the lack of ram, should the stuttering be significantly less when i lower the settings in FS? This is not the case, main fps are pretty good in high settings and even better in minimal fsx settings, as you would expect. But stuttering remains the sam. And if i check ram usage in task manager it's not using all ram, still got about 500 mb free available.Regards,Jeffrey van Luit
  9. Btw after removing/reinstalling FSX and NGX i did not had to reactivate the NGX. Is this normal behaviour or could that be the problem?
  10. Hi guys,Fsuipc is not installed so that's not it. All other high end addons run normally and smooth. It's only the ngx, so i don't think it's my system specs. It's not an occasionally stutter as situated in the other post. For me it's a continues stutter as soon as I move the plane.Any ideas?Jeffrey
  11. Hi guys,After installation of the NGX, the sim stutters a lot. Seems like it's loading something every second. Fps is normal @ 30 fps but drops to 2 fps every 2 secs or so. I tweaked the FSx.cfg as per manual, i also tried various settings in Fs to eventually bare minimum, but no luck. My system runs Win7 32 bit on core 2 quad 2.4ghz, 3.0 gb ram and gefore gtx560. All other addons and planes run normally and no other background programs are running. Any ideas?Regards,Jeffrey
  12. Hi Guys, well the last trick worked, still don't know what the real problem was..might be the lack of installing SP2.But in all got it up and working.FPS with pretty high settings are around 25fps (limited @ 30 fps), not so bad, but the sim stutters quite a lot.. it drops from 25 to 2 for a second and repeats time after time. I did tweak the FSx.cfg as per manual.... tried to lower all the settings in FSX to minimal no luck...probably it needs more tweaking, but any suggestions are welcome!!!Once more my system:MS windows 7 Home premium 32 bitIntel core 2 qua 2.40 ghz3 GB RAMGeforce GTX560 Thnx for the help Jeffrey
  13. In the progress of deleting FSX, defragging HD, installing FSX on different location (still had it installed in default program files/microsoft games etc). Will then install FSx with SP1 and 2. Will keep you posted on progress, for now thnx for all the help and tips so far!! Jeffrey
  14. Hi Geoff, about to do that now, what do you mean with defrag the installed "spluttered mess" ? Jeffrey
  15. Oke guys, kinda lost here, i'll try to lay down the problem as detailed as possible: First my system :MS windows 7 Home premium 32 bitIntel core 2 quad 2.4GHZ3,0GB ramNvidia Geforce GTX560 This is what i did:1. Uninstalled al thrid party software of FSx (including NGX)2. Uninstalled FSX3. run CCleaner as some software left a lot of traces in registry.4. Reinstalled FSx with service pack 1.5. Tested FSx: normal ops!6. Installed NGX and a lot of other addons.7. Some addons gave a CTD, not sure which one, so deleted al the 3rd party software again.8. All software removed, only ALL the PMDG files remained in FSX!9. Tried reinstalling and then uninstalling the NGX, more files where removed from FSX but still the PMDG folder existed in FSX whith some files in it. Manually deleted the PMDG folder.10. Reinstalled the NGX. FSx ask me to recognize the PMDG dll's, so i did, the plane shows up in the menu in FSX. All seems to go just fine, and the VC loads up... but there is no initialisation as i used to see before i reinstalled fsx..also no gauges are loaded. And no place to be found where i can activate the NGX. First of all, it's kinda strange when you use a unistall of a program it leaves a lot of files untouched. Is this normal? What could be the problem for the NGX not initializing? Kind regards, Jeffrey van Luit
