August 19, 201114 yr Hello guys,I have just had a CTD while programming CDU with flight plan from KMDW to KTPA. Please try to perform youself what I am gonna write and leave me a gently feedback (Hot Fix 3 not installed yet). 1. Go to gate B3 at KMDW and perform a fully Cold and Dark startup;2. Create flight plan into CDU choosing:a. rwy 22L for departure;b. MID7 as SID, then execute;3. Go to the Route Page, you will see: VIA -> MID7 ---- TO -> (VECTORS)4. Now, in scratchpad write the first intersection (EARND), then using the LSK 1R paste the waypoint in place of "VECTORS"5. Go to the Legs page, you will see EARND followed by the SID and probably some discountinuities.6. Now, we are gonna attempt to move EARND from first position to the end of list legs by copying it in the scratchpad and then paste down using LSKs.7. Did you have a CTD? Yes, I know, it is probably an uncorrect way to populate the flight plan but I am interested to know if you get a CTD too. I am sorry, but I could not post screenshots of the procedure so I tried to describe it as detailed as possible. Let me know please.Bye. Capt. August 20, 201114 yr Hi Rick - I tried following the steps above, but I did not get a CTD. You should probably install the latest hotfix and try again. Instead of trying to replace VECTORS with EARND on the RTE page, you will probably find it easier if you ACTIVATE and EXECUTE the route after selecting departure runway and SID, then go to the LEGS page and do the editing.
