Elec HYD Pump Overheat

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone, Small question. I was testing LRC flights on the 737-800WL, doing a flight from SBNT to GCLP (didn't know GCLP was so lame in FSX basic scenery by the way, anyone know a good add-on to fix that?) As I have service based failures active on my NG, I was hit by an FCC-B FAIL (so Autopilot B inop, not a problem) and by 2x ELEC HYD OVERHEAT. QRH said just turn them off and the ENG HYD PUMPS will be enough for the flight to continue, so Okay. Reached GCLP without any problems, and cleared the failures in the FMC. The autopilot failure was cleared successfully, but my ELEC HYD PUMP still indicate FAIL and OVERHEAT, and there are no failures active in the FMC. How can I clear that ? Thanks

Not sure why you cannot clear the hydraulic failure - I had both electric hydraulic pumps fail on me at the same time, but clearing the failures fixed it for the rest of my flight. FWI have a decent GCLP: http://www.fly-wonderful-islands.com/gran-canaria.html

Just want to add I have had the same issue - on a saved flight that I often reload into PHOG. I have Failures off, and it happens as described above, every time being failed as the flight loads, and will not clear. Joe Lorenc

Yes that's exactly how it went down : I forgot to mention that I had just loaded that flight enroute.

Think this is a bug with saved panel states - but easily fixed - once on ground, load a default panel state -cold and dark or something like that - it will reset temps (fuel temp and Hydrailics) then if you are using a default panel state to load save over this again(if you are using autosave in FSuiPC it will do so automatically. All should be fixed again then - and shouldnt bug again - seems to only happen if you load mid flight or crash and it loads a panel state.
