Modified an AFCAD, still no GA Traffic....

Featured Replies

Hello,Following the advice of a few people I modified the AFCAD2 file for my home airport (KPBI) using the wonderful AFCAD program- really well designed and easy to use!Unfortunately, after adding TONS of GA parking ramps (actually they were already there, I just modified existing parking to become GA ramps) I still get no GA planes parked or landing.I know there's lots of GA at other airports nearby (can see via ShiftW as I cycle through), but can't figure out what's going wrong at KPBI. I use Ultimate TRaffic, but as I mentioned there seems to be plenty of GA at other airports so I don't think that program is causing the problem.Do I need to modifiy some flightplans or something?Any advice appreciated,Joel

Also, do a quick library search for GA traffic manager or generator. It will generate a definable number of random flights from and to your airport using selectable aircraft and distances ready to compile using ttools.

Thanks, but will this impact my Ultimate Traffic installation?

Wow, thanks again- but same question, will this impact my Ultimate Traffic installation? I don't want to risk messing that up...Best,JOel

It shouldn't because FS9 hads the ability to use multiple traffic.bgl'sI've been wanting to add more GA traffic, particularly in my area (of course :) ) but haven't gotten a chance to do so yet. Let us know how you make out.
