Recently (within the last 2 weeks) I am seeing strange artifacts in FSX, followed by a message "windows kernel mode driver stopped responding". The only known alteration I have made is installing Ezdok and I usually see this corruption when I start the EZdok studio.What is strange is that when I go to Full screen then back the artifacts disappear. I am not experiencing issues outside of FSX though, so I don't think it is hardware. But then again, other than FSX I don't usually ask alot from my GTX580.I am running the latest drivers 280.26, but I was seeing this on 275.33 too. System specs are in the signature line. I think you should post in the PMDG section and If I am not mistaken that is the NGX correct.

If you uninstall EZDock, do they disappear? And this is the right place to post. PMDG forums are for THEIR product support, not other product support

Your right Di. Sounds like a display issue. Could you put Ezdok on another core through the task manager check.

FWIW, I had 3D Real Cockpit Effect loaded on my 737NGX flight near Hurricane Irene. ASE was activated too. Halfway through the flight FSX froze with just the sound playing. After exiting out I checked the Event Viewer and it told me I had an "Application Hang" caused by 3D Real Cockpit Effect. I own Ezdok too but have not reinstalled it yet and like the simplicity of 3D Real Cockpit. Perhaps these applications do not like nasty turbulence and weather! The error message comes from Nvidia display drivers. I would suggest you have your FSX sliders set too high. FSX cannot handle all sliders to the right in most circumstances. If you are overclocking your video card, this message will definitely come up if you overclocked it too much. It happened to me while trying to overclock mine. Best regards,Jim
