August 27, 201114 yr I've been waiting for this bird for a long long time and couldn't fly it until tonight because I was on a bush flying contract for the whole summer. Reading all these posts in the last weeks and I was afraid it wouldn't perform, or freeze or not activate. I was wrong, dead wrong. Installed and activated perfectly (paid by paypal btw). I didn't even plugged my saitek setup, I just wanted to virtually molest it :) Performance. Steady 24FPS with REX2 textures 4096x4096 on a 2560x1440 27" Monitor. VC panning was smoother than any others, it was like a hot knife through butter, no hiccups or anything even though bad weather on approach to minimums. Fired up a quick CYQB-CYUL Westjet route @ 18 000' in night IFR weather. The LNAV/VNAV was accurate, I though the LDS767 had the best VNAV modeling but ohhhh ... this was something else entirely. No problems with the autoland either (haven't read the manual but it was simply setting the ILS freq on both nav receivers, identical courses, and activating both AP on APP mode. Smooth "positive contact" flare and rollout ... perfect!). Oh yeah, it's one of the few jets that simulates real landing lights, I was really impressed. My system isn't all that great eitherCore i5 o/c to 3,4 with 6-8-6-24 DDR3 1680mhz 4gb ram. Windows 7 x64 correctly tuned using NickN guide and GTX 470 with 275.33 drivers using 8x AA on nvidia inhancer. All graphical sliders at high, dense autogen, very dense scenary, unlimited FPS. and fps_limiter.02 locking frames to 30 Can't wait for the multicrew! Eric Blais
