I have removed the vc from one of my aircraft by editing the vc string in the mdl file using hex editor.Is it also necessary to remove the vc entries in the panel cfg file? Thanx,Dimi

Hi,I guess you are on FS9 because of using the HEX ED to remove the VC. After you have done it, their is no need any more to have the entries for the VC in your panel.cfg. On the other hand, if the entries are still there, your FS will just ignore it.Dietmar

Hi, You can remove any visible gauges from the VCockpit listings, but any transparent gauges that are "working in the background" should be kept. They are placed into the VC sections because they are loaded no matter what the current view is. Hope this helps,
