September 4, 201114 yr As I said I have removed one side panel and have been using the computer so for a while now. Without the side panel I can play Napoleon Total War and the temperatures are lower for all program. I have two fans. I only see two PCI card slots and if I place a card in any of them they come very close to the GPU fan which bothers me.Do you mean that it's a bad idea to have a side panel removed permanently?I have been looking at cases but there seems to be nothing god. In customer reviews there is always something bad pointed out. Also will a new case allow me to run the computer without overheating. Can it be as cool as my current with sidepanel removed? Is this your board? http://www.msi.com/product/mb/KA780G.htmlIt has 3 PCI slots, and the lowest one has a slot of separation with the GPU (I take it your GTS250 is 2 slots) Normally you should have better airflow with all the panels in the case and It's going to be full of dust in no time without the side panel, and that can also be an issue with regards to temps. Of course you can get better temps with a decent case. There are plenty of them in the $40 - $80 rangeHow's your cable management?

I couldn't see one of the PCI slots since it was obscured by the GPU fan. Regarding cable management. I use a modular PSU and all cables that I need is freely placed between the components. I don't have any special arrangement for cables in my case.
