September 5, 201114 yr My apologies if this has been asked many times before (actually, I'm sure it has), but it's a quick question, so I figured I may as well ask. When doing repaints, do you typically use the paint/drawing tools in Photoshop or do you gather textures from photographs of the plane? Oh, I'm (obviously) just starting out with repaints, so if there's a really good tutorial I should follow, please just direct me there. Thanks,boeing247 -Bram Osterhout

Thanks,boeing247 One thing to remember is, layers are your friends. There are times when you can use photos, then there are times that you need to overlay a photo as a pattern over your paint kit, and use your paint tools to recreate the livery. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that can help you with what you want to do. Then there are other forums that have tutorials on how to paint their own paint kit like Level-D. It's good to check them out, because the concept is practically the same on many models, with the exception of a few things. Johnny Rosario
