  1. I'm not having any tree issues with T2G and P3D. I too use ORBX trees and openLC North America, and everything is working without a problem. I did however, disabled KMCO-OBJ-TREES.bgl, and that took care of the T2G trees issues in P3D.
  2. Having issues with ASN and the new update.
  3. Update installed without any issues. Made sure to run EZCA Configuration before launching P3D, and it worked just fine.
  4. Again, I just didn't post a screen shot, I did include system details. If they thought there was more information needed, the right thing to have done is just say so, and just not blow me off, and delete my post.
  5. I did post my questions again, but without a screenshot this time. I even ask why can't someone there at least give me a reason why they took my post down, and no answer. Instead, they took that post down too. I guess they want to start a bad reputation on how they deal with constructive criticism. I'm not someone who likes to complain about just anything, and I've been around in the FS arena since 2002, so it's not like I'm ignorant that crashes do happen, but give me a reason is all I'm asking. At least every other forums I've ever posted something, the moderators have given me that much courtesy. They've done it here and every other forum in the web. Any way, thanks Elaine for that link, I'll give that a look.
  6. It was more than just hardware and a screenshot. Many of us at some time or another have posted something on a particular section of the forum, and the administrators have sometimes moved it to a more appropriate location, and that's fine as long as you have been given a reason. And if there wasn't enough information posted to give a better picture of the problem, then just requested! But, to just remove it and don't give you a reason, that's totally unacceptable, considering that P3D is not cheap, at least it wasn't for me since I purchased the pro version.
  7. Is one thing to explain to you why they removed a topic you posted on their website forum, and is another to just remove it because they didn't like you criticizing an issue you are having with their product. As long as you blow smoke up their rear, they seem to be fine, but if you have a problem and ask for their help to explain an issue you are having with their product, your post disappears without an explanation if they don't have an answer. I simply posted a screenshot of my sim crash to desktop. I've kept my settings to as close as bare bone as possible, before you start looking like you have FSX or FS9 installed again on your computer, yet P3D crashed on me. I also posted all my hardware on my computer to show that although I don't have the fastest or most expensive system out in the market, it's not a low end system either, so what can be causing this issue? I guess they didn't like to see a crash to desktop screenshot in their forum, and they took it down without a reason or explanation. Starting to feel I'm getting a raw deal purchasing P3D Pro version. All that money spent, and I think FSX was doing a much better job. Perhaps I should have stood with FSX.
  8. I did away with AffinityMask and FFTF, and now my P3Dv3 is running much smoother and sharper. Not sure why I thought I needed those tweaks, but I guess after so many years with FSX, all I did back then was tweak, tweak, and more tweak. Less is more when it comes to P3Dv3, at least for me.
  9. Every sound on my P3Dv3 sound perfect, except I can't hardly hear ATC. Other voice sounds like FS2Crew, and GTN sound loud, but not P3D's ATC sound. I tried raising the sound fader for voice, but doesn't do anything.
  10. Boy, it didn't take long for them to put these on sale! Perhaps they saw not everyone was excited or running to the store to pick them up, specially if you already had ASN. For what I use it for, I didn't see a need to pay more just to get one specific effect I like. The rest is just more of the same, and ASCA clouds doesn't convince me at all.
  11. Thanks Peter, once again. That was it, I changed the theme to aero, and now I'm not getting any screen tear! You saved me a good $300 to $800, in not having to invest in a new G Sync monitor.
  12. Thanks Peter, when I get home I will try and change my windows theme to aero and see if that helps.
  13. Not so, Mark. VSYNC is active. It's active in P3Dv3, NVidia control panel, and inspector. I'm using GeForce GTX 970, and driver is up to date, version 372.70. I think Massimo is right, G Sync Monitors is the way to go. I'm looking at one now, preferably one at 165hz, but if not, 144hz.
  14. VSYNC is on, still have the same issue. Never had this problem in FSX. But that G Sync monitor is what I might have to be looking at. Didn't know what the hell it was causing my problem, to discovering what a big difference a G Sync monitor makes, however, they are not cheap.
  15. Has anyone had the problem of looking around your cockpit in P3D v3, and noticing your view slice your aircraft as you pan? My setting work great for me, smooth frame rates, not blurry or stuttering, but for some reason, as I pan my view, a sharp quick split before getting back to normal.
  16. I don't think you can put the blame on P3Dv3.3.5. I have the same platform, and my results are similar to the first two screenshots above. Trying to find the problem in your system is not solved by just looking at your 3rd screenshot. To many variables to consider, that starts with your hardware, and ends with your addon settings. That 3rd screen looks so washed out, it seems like you have used a 3rd party tweaker assist like PTA. Most people like to tweak the hell out of P3D, but I think you shouldn't mess with the cfg file with the exception of one or two settings.
  17. OBS Studio is free too, and I just finished a video without any problem in P3Dv3. Didn't have any issues with fps, or memory leak.
  18. Sounds like a winner to me, Ed. I'll give ShadowPlay a spin soon.
  19. I remember using GameCam back in 2004, but stop using it as soon as I bought FRAPS. Never had any complaint about FRAPS just until now that I switch to P3D. Disk space is not an issue for me, since I have a separate drive to store my vides with over 3TB of space.
  20. Thanks Ed, but I just finish testing OBS, and for the price of $0.00, you can't beat it. Getting excellent frame rates with it. I'll give ShadowPlay a spin too tomorrow, and see if the rates are even better. By the way, I like how the XLS+ is starting to take shape. Can't wait to see her release one day.
  21. I just gave OBS a spin, and I thought I was recording, better frame rates, and I was even able to see P3D on the pre screen window, but when I ran the video to view, I heard sound, but no video. I'm sure I missed a step and will check again. However, did not freeze on me like FRAPS.
  22. I was just looking online for OBS. Interesting, and the best thing is that is free. You don't have anything to lose by trying it.
  23. I've heard from some folks that they are having frame issues using ShadowPlay. I would love to use FRAPS, but it's killing me in the frame rates department.
  24. I've used FRAPS for ever, since FS9 and FSX. I can start FRAPS and P3Dv3, but my frame rates drop like a rock, to the point it just freezes. What video capturing software are you guys using when capturing videos in P3D?
  25. Looks nice, but not enough info to convince me to drop some cash.
