Issue - CH pro quad throttle - left throttle not connecting

Featured Replies

Hi guys I'm raising it here before I raise a ticket in case someone's resolved this. O/S: Win 7 64 bit, Core2Duo E6600hardware: Ch pro yoke, multi throttle and rudderother software running with FSX: REX, VAFS (not always), FSINN (not always), registered FSUIPC but not used for mapping Issue:On starting FSX, I load up the default cessna, then I jump into the PMDG 737 NGX. However, the left throttle will NOT move. I can do everything, including starting the engines, etc. N1 goes up to approx 20.5% and stays. I can move the right throttle. Sometimes the left throttle WILL move, however the engine doesn't inc or dec - it just stays at 20.5%. Current fix:I have to load up the NGX, then load the default cessna, THEN load the NGX again for it to work which is a pain in the proverbial. Does anyone have any solutions for this? I thought loading up the default cessna would resolve this but no dice. Thanks

I have the same setup and never had the problem, but have you tried just 'refreshing' the plane? There is a command for that you can assign in FSX, I use 'SHIFT+CTRL+R'. Also are you using the CH manager software? If so try removing it and let FSX assign the defaults.

Hi Jay I didn't know there was a refreshing option...might check that out first. I use the CH manager software to calibrate the CH hardware - anything else just doesn't work (esp FSUIPC). Thanks for the tip - I'd rather try here first rather than bother the PMDG guys with a ticket, unless ofcourse it doesn't help me.
