January 13, 200422 yr I am looking for a good representation of aircraft in my hangar, from trainers to commercial airliners. I currently fly:Lyon's Piper CubRealAir C172Flight1's Piper MeridianMilton's Aero CommanderRFDS Beechcraft KingAir 200Mike Stones Beechcraft 1900DDefault lear with RXP avionicsPMDG 737NGI'm looking for a turbo twin that out performs the Meridian in terms of Cruise speed and range. I'm not satisfied with either the kingair or the 1900, but PMDG's offering has a spot reserved in my credit card statement. The Aero commanders are not really an improvement over the Meridian in any catagory, afak - and I'd like more modern avionics on the deck. As far as filling in the turbo-twin gap in my hanger, what would be a good real-world upgrade from the meridian? It's hard to beat its performance in terms of cruise speed, but range and load? How well would the other Flight1 twins fit the bill, such as the C310 or the C421? FSD's Comanche, Seneca V, or upcoming Navajo? Any freeware planes that fit the bill?Any recommendations are very welcome. Thanks!sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
January 13, 200422 yr Hi,Well, I my opinion you can't go wrong with the Cheyenne from FSD, its a great plane, I love it, plus it's pretty quick ;).CheersDan.
January 13, 200422 yr FSD Cheyenne with RXP Jetline2!!!Blazing fast, good range, realistic engine parameters, and freakin' awesome flight dynamics (as good as you can get on a turboprop model in fs)! If you don't want a turboprop, the 421 is also awesome, nothing but great things to say about it.Both are 2004 updatedenjoy
January 13, 200422 yr Author Thanks for that enthusiastic endorsement, Gordo! Off to FSD I go!sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
