Problems with throttle at takeoff

Featured Replies

Actually, the reverse thrust on the TQ works just fine. Be sure to use FSX itself for assigning this type of stuff.

guys, I posted a precise guide to setting up thrust reverers using FSUIPC. it is dead simple. here are a few key things:- don't use FSUIPC for throttle axis or calibration. - use FSUIPC to program throttle dec with repeat to the saitek throttle lever button that is triggered when moving the lever past the idle detente. Program throttle cut upon release of this same button.- as Patrick pointed out, set autothrottle option to section, Never OverrideThe above is exactly what inhale been using and it works perfectly.

Cheers, Scott Ball

Just a heads up: You said not to use FSUIPC for a throttle axis, but I must confront that solution, as it basically is no solution for me, AT ALL.I use different configs for different aircraft, be that 2, 3 or 4 engine, or turboprop. So using an external program or internal FSX axis configurator, it's a big no-go with my configuration.BUT:I just configured it over FSUIPC, I kept my FSUIPC assignment, but I removed calibration in FSUIPC, and behold, my NGX is working perfectly again, in fact, it's acting as it's supposed to, takeoffs are now without a problem. I can assign it in FMC as I want to, and it acts like that.
