Small issue with paintkit ...

Featured Replies

Hi, I was fumbling around to make yet another Air Berlin livery for the 737-800WL. Doing so, I ran into a small issue which results from the Air Berlin livery showing a grey stripe pretty low on the belly (Pic 1)Painting this using the paintkit, it's just a grey stripe over a reddish area (Pic2).However, in FSX, it looks like this (Pic3): Did I miss some trick here or is the pack modelling kind of messing it up?

The red texture for the bottom and gear bay area is overlapping that line, look at the bottom texture and adjust from there! Hope that helps

That smells of some major tinkering with the bottom texture then. There seems to be no easy way to align. I'll see what I can do.

That's right, har har har... we've been there. LOL.gif Usually two small colored triangles applied onto the belly texture will do the trick though. wink.png But yeah it's some awkward fiddling to do. You will have similar issues all over the aircraft, be it on the fuselage/roof joints, the fuselage/belly joints, nose/cockpit roof areas and so forth. Not an easy job. sig.gif Example: correction.jpg
