Wierd cloud texture problem at Yuma (KYUM)

Featured Replies

When I am at Yuma airport (KYUM) my clouds flash. This only happens at Yuma and it only happens when I use the downloaded real world weather. I have REX but this was happening before I had REX too. Any ideas what could be causing this and how would I fix it?

Having landed in Yuma a few times IRL in a C-150, I'm tempted to be a smart-a** and say that it's just the heat causing hallucinations (Yuma is typically the hottest place in Arizona on any given day). No idea what could be causing that in the sim, though. I'll try it myself and report back. EDIT: Tried real-world weather around YUM for about 20 minutes, with scattered clouds but no flashing. I wonder if the weather updates are causing the flashing.

If it was the weather updates then how come You didn't see the flashing when you tried it? This is very weird! Oh and I don't have any scenery or anything else installed in the area (that I know of). Could a AI texture cause it? Although if it was a AI texture I would of seen the flashing at other airports, but I just see it at Yuma.

Ok the flashing only happens if I start at the airport with one of the default weather themes selected then download real world weather when I am at the airport.
