Can anyone here the ground power cart in the external view?

Featured Replies

Um....Hear, not here. Sorry. And I mean ground power only. I can hear sound from the other two air carts but not the GPU. My support ticket was closed and I'm curious if everyone has this problem or is it on the list for SP1?

Have you tried it with just the GPU connected, (without the other two carts)? Perhaps there is a limit as to how many sound files representing exterior equipment can run at the same time.I'll check for the GPU sound on my next flight.

Yep I've tried them together and separately. It's only the GPU with no sound. It's one of those little things I'd forgotten about until recently because I've been doing repaints and spending a lot of time on exterior views.

Just checked, and I don't hear the GPU either. I'm not sure if it worked prior to the new hotfix, as I normally don't select exterior views until beginning pushback, at which point the GPU would have already been disconnected.

It probably didnt work before. Mine never has. I'd reported it a long time ago and Ryan said he submitted it. They just recently closed the ticket without further comment, so I'm going to assume it's going to be part of the service pack. I'd just never seen anyone else mention it so I didn't know if it was an isolated thing or not.
