September 29, 201114 yr Hi! After successful deploy of 737NG-700 I observed strange (too high) angles of attack during flight.FS settings of realism: General - 100%P-Factor - 50%Torque - 50%Gyro - 0%Crash Tollerance - 100% Weather: clearNo weather addons AircraftGW: 129lb/ LZW: 111lb, Trim: 5.5Fuel: 100%/3.5%/100%Load prepared using PMDG Load manager Results250kt/0FLAPS - 3.7deg (5000ft horizontal flight)200kt/1FLAPS - 4.5deg (3000ft horizontal flight)180kt/5FLAPS - 4.9deg (2700ft horizontal flight)160kt/10FLAPS - 5.9deg (GS 3%)138kt/30FLAPS - 7.1deg (vref+5kt from FMC) (GS 3%) Flaps applied using speed-flaps schedule from FMC. I think that above angles are too high. What could be the problem? Thanks in advanceBRSebastian
October 17, 201114 yr They all look good except for 138kts/30Flaps. This should be around 2 to 3 degrees at the most. You may have had the speed brake deployed. A deployed speedbrake will cause the nose to pitch up to compensate for lost of lift.John Floyd John Floyd
October 18, 201114 yr With 100% fuel in your wings at landing, if that is what you are stating, you may have been heavy requiring the higher pitch.
