September 29, 201114 yr I need help in getting my yoke system set up, since i'm having problems with the controls. I have windows 7 64 bit and my yoke system can't work.None of the controls work and it tells me that the driver didn't install properly, it keeps turning to the right when i turn it on. I'm trying to use this on the the Pro flight simulator deluxe.What do I need to do. Thanks
September 29, 201114 yr I have a CH yolk, you did not say what yolk you have? With CH do not use the CHmanager software. I use a paid version of FSUIPC and set all my functions from there. I have controllers set to disabled in FSX as to assure no interferance. September 29, 201114 yr Its a PZ44 yoke system w/ quadrant controls. I'm new to this so i don't know where to start Ok it is a Saitek yolk. It should work the same. I would buy FSUIPC and prgram it from there. Not install the driver software that cam with it, however you can use the driver that came with it without buying FSUIPC. Since I am not familer with your software I cannot help. You can search these foroums for Saitek or buy FSUIPC here http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html Regards,Gary Andersen HAF932 Advanced, ASUS Z690-P D4, i5-12600k @4.9,NH-C14S, 2x8GB DDR4 3600, RM850x PSU,Sata DVD, Samsung 860 EVO 1TB storage, W10-Pro on Intel 750 AIC 800GB PCI-Express,MSI RTX3070 LHR 8GB, AW2720HF, VS238, Card Reader, SMT750 UPS.
September 30, 201114 yr beringAre you using the SST software from Saitek (not the driver) but the programming software?Initially disable the SST software (if using) and assign all axes only in FSX.A couple of points FSX expects all of the axes sliders to be set: "Sensitivity" all the way to the right (100) and the "Null Zone" all the way to the left (0). (You can adjust this as you get more experienced.)Check for any duplicate assignments in any controller connected (FSX will even assign axes to the mouse).Make sure that you do not have power saving set on, wrt the USB hub/port(s) that you have the controller connected to.Always leave the controller connected to the PC when shutting down or if removed make sure they are inserted in the exact same USB Hub/PortAssign all controls, axes, buttons, keys in FSX and default planes and make sure they work before moving on to 3rd party addon planes and/or FSUIPC4.Calibrate the controllers in Windows to make sure they are working correctly.Open FSX with a default plane (single engine GA) and see if the controller works as you want it to (use middle of the road or lower realism settings in FSX)Try then with a twin engine and so on up to a 4 engine jet.Once that's OK you can then progress to more complex planes and programs like FSUIPC4, and increase your realism settings.PeterH
October 3, 201114 yr Can you try to simply plug in the device? Win7 should recognize and install necessary drivers. Then assign the axis and buttons via the control panel->controllers area. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
