Guess I should primarily post this over at IVAO instead in the IvAp support forum but since there have been a number of discussions here too regarding online traffic, TCAS etc I figured I ask you guys too if it might be NGX related somehow...hope it's OK. I haven't changed anything to my IVAO online setup as far as I know but for some reason I no longer see any other online traffic around me inside FSX. I don't see them on TCAS, I don't see them in any views v/c or spot view and I don't see the traffic in Aivlasoft's EFB. However another online pilot just helped me confirming that they can see my a/c just fine and I'm also seen by ATC just fine. Any idea what could cause this? I have been flying online at IVAO for many years but have never seen this problem before and I don't get any warnings or error messages of any kind...it's just the traffic that for some reason isn't "injected" into my FSX anymore. TIA for any help!

My bet would be a problem with the IVAP client.  Your best support would probably come from over there.

@kyle: you are absolutely correct. The thing is, the problem in this case (and as usual) was me.

 

If someone else ends up here guided by google, here is what happened:

 

For offline flying, I had removed the IVAO MTL line from my fsx.cfg in order to speed up load times. Once I had the SimObject line enabled again. All started working as expected

Hi,

I never had the chance to see IVAO traffic on FSX when in IvAp online session, I always have to monitor webeye on a web browser. What is the line you have on fsx.cfg? (I am on fsx se, but it could help if I add it on fsx_se.CFG)
