Changing the graphics and display

Featured Replies

Hello All. I have recently bought this aircraft, on page 12 of the introduction manual, it states where you change the Graphics section, by adding a line and again in the display section. Does this interfere with anything else either in the FSX program or anywhere else? I only have kindergarten level knowledge with computers so thought I had better ask before making any changes to a cfg file. Many thanks.Jim. ps: I'm sorry, but I cannot find the FSX.cfg section where these are stored, could somebody help me find it please, thanks.

If it is the HIGHMEMFIX or something it does not interfere. But put it in there. Don worry about the not knowing about computers everyone starts somewhere. :) If you have windows 7 your fsx.cfg should be in C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX. you have to turn on hidden folders first.
