Hello All. I have been away from FSX Orbx for 2-3 years as being a pensioner it starting costing more than I really wanted to pay for new and updated sceneries and airports. I heard recently that there is a new product available called P3D. Does P3D cover airports around the globe, and in my case New Zealand? Does it equal or surpass the lovely graphic's of Orbx. I enjoy flying, and taking in the scenery. That's all that interests me so would the $195.00 version be what I should aiming at? Many thanks to those who reply. zl2bmh

Dear Zuendholz. Thank you for your reply. Just to clear this up, I sold a number of my Orbx FSX scenery and planes because money was short at this time. Now that there's a light at the end of what had been a very long tunnel, can I go ahead and purchase Prepar3D on it's own, adding to it as they release new scenery etc. Jim

Hello All. For various reasons I have been away from flight simming for a number of years, it was something I really enjoyed, I am looking to get back into it but have found a new player in Prepar3D. When I was last involved Orbx FSX was doing well and the scenery was beautiful. Is Prepar3D in competition with Orbx FSX? If I bought Prepar3D is it a sim in it's own right, and I can still get most of the planes and beautiful scenery as in Orbx FSX. Regards all. Jim

Hello All. I have been unable to fly my 737-8/900 due to illness. i bought this beautiful looking plane the 26th Sept 2011. Since then, according to my records, On the 28th of Dec 2011 I installed a patch, On the 7th Jan 2012 I installed SP1B which then gave me 3118, then 5th June I installed SP1c. Could someone who has their 737-8/900 completely up to date please tell me if I have completed everything correctly as i want to get serious and start teaching myself how to fly this lovely plane. Hello All. I need urgent help to get me up to date on what has happened since the release of the 800-900NGX. Unfortunately, just after purchasing this aircraft I took very ill. I was away from flying, or anything else for many months while in hospital and I lost part of my memory as a result of this illness, with the help of professionals I have slowly regained a lot that I had lost, but I am struggling with parts of my FSX, in particular with this lovely aircraft. I have downloaded and installed it, but never gone past that point, I see I have printed out a manual. Could some kind person tell me what has happened since it's delivery to the public and has there been any updates etc. I would be very grateful to any help you are able to give me. Thank you for all your help, I have now downloaded SP1b and installed it. As I'm not a competent user of a computer, I just want to make absolutely sure that I only had to install SP1b and that there was no need to install SP1. Is this correct.Thanks you again,Jim. zl2bmh

I have become very keen indeed on the dash 8 Q400 even though they only have a Q300 fleet here in New Zealand. Has anyone any information when the Q400 will be released to the Simmers?regards,Jim.

Hello All. I have recently bought this aircraft, on page 12 of the introduction manual, it states where you change the Graphics section, by adding a line and again in the display section. Does this interfere with anything else either in the FSX program or anywhere else? I only have kindergarten level knowledge with computers so thought I had better ask before making any changes to a cfg file.
