September 2, 20169 yr Hello All. I have been away from FSX Orbx for 2-3 years as being a pensioner it starting costing more than I really wanted to pay for new and updated sceneries and airports. I heard recently that there is a new product available called P3D. Does P3D cover airports around the globe, and in my case New Zealand? Does it equal or surpass the lovely graphic's of Orbx. I enjoy flying, and taking in the scenery. That's all that interests me so would the $195.00 version be what I should aiming at? Many thanks to those who reply. zl2bmh
September 2, 20169 yr P3D is an updated version of FSX. It has improved graphics and performance over FSX, but default "out of the box" scenery and airports are identical to FSX; for improved scenery you will still need to buy and install third party addons such as Orbx. Hi there You might be interested in the DovetailGames upcoming 64 bit sim which has incorporated Orbx Global FTX textures as standard. It will also be less expensive than P3D . They have a forum here, so take a look.
