Depends when you bought it, if you bought recently (around Christmas), I believe that all patches and Service Packs are includedand welcome to the NGX!

If u downloaded it recently from PMDG then its up to date, otherwise wont hurt to install SP1B

You only have to install SP1b.

Other than wasting time downloading SP1b, if you try to install that patch and your NGX already has that update, you will get a nice message telling you so and you can quit. No harm done.

if you installed it recently you dont have to install any patches all to date as pmdg updates the installers to the recent patches. One way to check if you got the latest patches check the cfg if its 3118 your up to date

If you purchased on or after 10DEC11 you've got everything already.

I have had the same problem with other downloads. Once i just downloaded to my desktop and the moved the file to the folder where i wanted it to be and that worked for me.Another way is to install Google Chrome. This one always seems to work for me now. If you don't want to use it permanently, just keep a shortcut handy and use it when you need it.Regards,

Thank you for all your help, I have now downloaded SP1b and installed it. As I'm not a competent user of a computer, I just want to make absolutely sure that I only had to install SP1b and that there was no need to install SP1. Is this correct.Thanks you again,Jim. zl2bmh

Yes, just install SP1B. All other fixes from previous SP's and hotfixes are included in this SP.
