October 10, 201114 yr hi all, i am using the NGX with ASE and just did a flight from EDDT to EDDF FL300. I noticed that the airplane is drifting from left to right around the magenta line on the ND to get the track.I switched the heading button on MCP but the autopilot is not able to hold the selected heading. I had sometimes 45° bank. I tried to change the ASE settings but I seems the problem is the NGX. Wind was 50 kt from the right.I hope I am not the only one with this issue. Mike Lambert Nils
October 10, 201114 yr Sounds like you're talking about the infamous s-turns. It's not specific to the ngx & has to do with how fsx does turbulence. There's a topic floating around with some recommended settings for fsx, fsuipc & ase. I recommend giving it a try & see how that works for you.Edit:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/350389-my-weather-config-for-pmdg-planes-part-ii/ Kenneth Weir My Saitek yoke mod i7 2600k @ 4.7 8GB Gskill CAS7 2x GTX580 SLI Surround + GT520 Accessory Win7x64

Edit:http://forum.avsim.n...planes-part-ii/ Actually Idk it may be a failure. I experienced the same thing in a flight from KDFW-KFLL. About 250 miles out using LNAV the airplane first started drifting, then started so make crazy s turns back in forth. I switched to heading hold and got the same problem. I also noticed before the flight that I was having problems with the FMS. It was giving me an extreme fuel left at destination reading. Said that I needed about 40,000 lbs to get me from DFW to FLL. Also inflight i was having a problem on the cruz page on the cdu. After the S turns i went into the CDU and looked at failures. I clicks on clear active and the problem stopped. Once I landed I also preformed a service all items. IDK if it was a failure or just a coincidence that when I press clear all failures the problem stopped. But hopefully I will never know because the problem won't happen again lol. MIK SESH II
October 27, 201114 yr I've try both method, but the problem isn't still solved. I think is an NGX problem. I never had a problem like this with other aircrafts.Hope the problem will be solve with the SP1, if it ever will be release...
