Greetings all. I'm having an issue with time lapse and Ezdok. I have not tried the time lapse with out ezdok. But the issue I am having is when I turn on auto cruise it disables my ezdok camera for some reason. The fsx also drops down to about 10 fps and pauses every 5 seconds or so. I flew without auto cruise on a flight and had no such issues. Has anyone else had these problems or know how to correct it? Mik Sesh
  4. No, after the FO starts engine 2 and says starter cutout the menu switches to set TO flaps. ANd thanks for the quick reply by the way bryan
  5. I had ran into some problems that have been fixed by me re installing FS crew as has been suggested. However the one problem I can not seem to solve is not being able to get the FO to start engine number 1. I am most likely overlooking something since I am a newbie but I have read the manual front to back. I config the start for APU everything goes smooth push back and all I called sequence is 2 then one, he says check. Then I say start engine 2 and he complies and starts the engine. Then i add the fuel at 25%. He then says starter cutout. Then when I say start engine 1 nothing happens. The green bar indicates that I have said the correct phrase but nothing. What I do notice is that the command bar (not sure the correct term) changes to set to flaps after engine 2 is started. Also in most cases the FA safety announcement is skipped. I am then forced to start the number 1 manually. And because I start it manually i also then have to manually do the before taxi procedure. Once I say flaps 5 everything returns to normal and i have no problems. Like I typed earlier I am sure it is something that I am not doing. If more information is needed just let me know. Help is greatly appreciatedRegards
  6. under the aircraft display options in the CDU. Its under the Fuel subheading. I cant remember the exact wording but I think it says something like display fuels as quantity or something like that.Best of luck
  7. LOl yea thats what I was thinking. It would be nice though :) The plane looks GREAT
  8. Just a thought but after watching some vid, I think that PMDG should do a 787 instead of a 777 or have a vote lol. But judging by how real PMDG does it IDK if they can get the data in the way they need it to make the plane realistic.
  9. Actually Idk it may be a failure. I experienced the same thing in a flight from KDFW-KFLL. About 250 miles out using LNAV the airplane first started drifting, then started so make crazy s turns back in forth. I switched to heading hold and got the same problem. I also noticed before the flight that I was having problems with the FMS. It was giving me an extreme fuel left at destination reading. Said that I needed about 40,000 lbs to get me from DFW to FLL. Also inflight i was having a problem on the cruz page on the cdu. After the S turns i went into the CDU and looked at failures. I clicks on clear active and the problem stopped. Once I landed I also preformed a service all items. IDK if it was a failure or just a coincidence that when I press clear all failures the problem stopped. But hopefully I will never know because the problem won't happen again lol.

I also notice that this seems to affect single engine taxi. If I get this warning its takes just about full thrust on a single engine to get the plane moving. When I don't get the warning single taxi works just fine. Anyone notice the same?
  11. Yea it only malfunctions in FSX ;( But I will continue to search high and low and if I find a solution I will def post it.
  12. Unfortunate for us. Guess we have to bite the bullet
  13. I Love my NGX no problems to report. How ever i am having problems with my mouse wheel that is decreasing my experience with the NGX (not an NGX problem) One day I started noticing that i could not use my mouse wheel for things like the AUTO pilot etc. I have FSUIP or however u say it lol. I have tried looking through settings and all that but cant fix the problem. O BTW i have the free version of FSUIP. Anybody have or had a similar problem and no had to repair it. Thanks for your replies.
  14. Thanks been trying to figure that out forever lol
  15. I have a ? that I have not been able to find out. What does CTD stand for?
  16. I always use single engine taxi on the NGX unless it will be a very very short taxi. Every airline i have flown in the US also uses single engine taxi and I have flown a lot lol. My question is sometimes on single engine taxi usually after i have came to a stop (for traffic) and try to start moving again i need almost 60 to 70 n1 to get moving. When I first start moving after engine start the plane only requires about 30. Anybody know what I could be doing wrong?
  17. I believe the problem is the FMS is updated to current real world airports and FS is behind in the times lol. For example in real life KIAD dulles recently built a new runway. SO now there is 1L, 1C, and 1R. This is shown in the FMS. however because the runway was not built when FS first came out it is not shown in FS but is shown in the FMS. I went through the same thing last night when I flew from ATL to MMUN.
  18. I have read through the manual for the ground air but when it is connected I don't get any air to the aircraft. Packs on engine bleeds on. Recuc fans on. What am I missing.
  19. I am currently at work and not at me pc:(. Just a quick ? Is it possible to upload the fsx flight plan directly into the Fmc? Haven had a chance to check it out for myself Lol.
  20. Lol thanks yea I do need to read the manual I been slowly working my way through lol
  21. Hey all, For some reason I can not get the v-speeds to calculate in the Fmc. I kno it's sonething I am doing lol. My first flight it worked. Now I can't get them to auto calculate. Idk if I am not putting in all the info in the Fmc or what. Btw the flights I have been doin have nor been real flights. Just ksea to kbfl. The route was kbfi direct. Idk if that helps. Can anyone help?
  22. This is sort of wired but what I have always done was take the fsx fuel needed and add a lot more fuel lol. Then at the end of the flight I take the actual fuel used and subtract it from what fsx said. I do multiple trials (3 or 4) and come up with an average difference. Then I just add it to what ever fsx tells me. Then I add reserves taxi and contingency. For example average difference mag be 5,000 lbs. So for a flight if fsx tell me 10,000lbs ill add 5. 15,000 lbs plus 5 for reserves and maybe 1 for taxi. That gives me 21,000. 10% contingency 2100 so my total fuel I would load would be 23,100 lbs. No where near official way to do it but I always land with atleased my reserve amount and 90% of the time it's atleased 4 to 5 lbs more then reserve Hope it helps.
  23. Sweet. Thanks.
  24. Will the ngx feature the same refueling system that the md11 has. Example. One can observe the fuel level rising realistically as it is pumped into the aircraft
