Hi.. a while back somebody named a simple program that I could control which programs used which processors.. reciently Ive tried to use task manager, but task manager isnt able to change the affinity of a lot of programs, like AVG and such. if somebody could refresh my memory of the name of the program, id really be thankful. BTW its for windows XP thankyou

There's an app called Multicore Environment. I think they might sell it over at Flight1. I've used it but I went back to setting my affinity's in Task Manager. I find TM handles everything I need just as easily. I'm kinda surprised to hear that you can't set some affinities in TM. You may not be able to in Multicore either. It was my impression that Multicore is just a customized GUI for TM. If I'm incorrect, I'm sure we will hear about it.
