  1. Go to NickN's Bible here: http://www.simforums.com/forums/the-fsx-computer-system-the-bible-by-nickn_topic46211_post283125.html#283125 About 3/4 of the way through this document is Section 19, an entire section on what you ask. There's a whole lot there.
  2. Just checked out one of the videos on their web site. They flew an approach . Looked absolutely flawless. Greased the landing. If you are into heavy metal, Its the 'turbine's roar' I fly mostly F1 Mustang or their B200, with an occasional hop in the RA Royal Duke V2 Any development plans in that area?
  3. This pilot knows his stuff: https://youtu.be/7QJTZXl_5BE
  4. About 2 hours max. For a very practical reason. My teeth start to float after that. I'm sure most of you know what I mean. lol
  5. I have had this occur using TrackIR also. Recentering with F12 will correct it.
  6. Use this and you won't go wrong. http://archive.benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=170&Itemid=38&limit=1&limitstart=5 This link puts you on page 6 of 6. Scroll back to page 1 for the entire report.
  7. ok, thanks
  8. Paul, I like that paint. However I could not find it by searching the file name. Maybe it hasn't been approved by the admin?
  9. Have you looked at the videos on the link. The fsx side of the split screen looks much better than the GE side. There may be more improvements in the works but for now, I don't see any benefit.
  10. Are the other planes in which you are successfully making this flight using NaviGraph data. Try flying some other flights using NaviGraph. It could be a flight data problem
  11. I like Friendly Panels. Functional, good selections and inexpensive. They have been around for years.
  12. Could your NI install have been corrupted? Did you turn off firewall and and other security. Just a guess.
  13. Rick, Take a look here: http://www.simforums.com/forums/drivers-nv-inspector-fsxcfg-complete-guide_topic36586.html
  14. Sounds like a bad potentiometer. You could try some electronics cleaner or maybe replace the pot. You can get the pot from CH. Then its a fairly easy job replacing it. There are Utube videos that can help. Here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmKrffu4QlU
  15. I just picked up the Carenado CT206. Wanting to get back into Return to Misty Moorings with ORBX scenery, I was needing an amphibious bush plane. Tried the 185. It's ok but was wanting something more along the lines of the 210. Since I couldn't find an amphib 210 I went for the 206. After reworking the panel upgrade to the RXP430 and a new AP all was good with that part. But as you know the sound is really bad on this plane. I could not hear the engine start at all from inside. The throttle and prop adjustments were just awful. I fiddled with the sound.cfg but no joy. It occurred to me that since I already owned the 210 in which the sound is very nice, why not do some swapping around. After backing up the sound folder in the 206, I copied the 210 sound folder into the main 206 folder. Problem solved.
  16. Have you looked at the Flight1 Mustang? I've got over 1500 hrs in it. It's not a Hawker or a C5 but, it does have some good systems modeling and flight dynamics. It's also Navigraph updateable. Might be a good interim small jet for you.
  17. Check out some of the freeware at ORBX here: https://www.fullterrain.com/
  18. Check out the file library. There are some scenery updates that will correct this for you.
  19. I, too, see a remarkable increase in graphic quality at KSEZ with a 9.5 LOD. Big But: OOM shuts me down as soon as I try to fly the RA Turbo Duke2, with the F1GTN750. I'm running a 4770 at 4.5 with a 780 and 8Gb of Corsair Dominator platinum. I have the sliders at ORBX settings. As soon as I move over from the safe flight, I get the OOM shutdown. The scenery is gorgeous at 6.5 LOD. That's where I'm keeping it for now and enjoy the hardware and settings where they are. Just what we need. Another tweak so we can run 9.5 LOD. 8-().
  20. Any FSX/P3D applications?
  21. If only it would mow my yard...
  22. This is cool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zD4khsiitLw&feature=youtu.be&list=UUAdN9s9MrsX0BVdz4XZAhaA
  23. Have there been any improvements in V2.7 other than FSX SE compatibility? ***************************************************************************************************** EDIT To answer my own question: I just checked Steve's blog. FSX SE compatibility is the only thing addressed in v2.7. If you are not running FSX and FSXSE on the same machine, you don't need v2.7 https://stevesfsxanalysis.wordpress.com/2015/01/27/version-2-7/
