October 13, 201114 yr Hello I am new to the avsim forums but i have a question which i can't find the answer to anywhere... I'm having difficulty in understanding how the Simcheck Airbus paint kit works. I'm no master at aircraft repainting however I wanted to put my own custom VA on the cargo variant, but when I came to do this I find the paint kit provided overwhelming! I don't really understand how to work with psd's so I would really appreciate it if one of you would be able to either explain how to deal with the paint kit or be able to send me a link as to where I would be able to find an all white cargo livery for the A300 so i can just add the graphics and text I want. Thanks :) Alex Smith

October 13, 201114 yr Could you maybe say what it exactly is that you find difficult to understand? There is a read me included that could also help you. I myself just finished a repaint of the Simcheck A300 and sent it out the other day, and must say I do understand that you might find it overwhelming, for its a paint kit that's not at all easy to understand. You must try and understand what each layer does - and that's fortunately easy to understand! Just click on the "eye" icon of each layer, and see what goes away or is added when you do so. That way you'll soon see some structure, but I agree, it's a strange paint kit. In the end though, you do all the repainting on new layer,s not existing one,s so you might as well make a new layer, start painting, and see later between which existing layers you should place your new layer. October 13, 201114 yr Author Thanks for the replies.Sorry about the font, I'm still learning :) Anyway, I'm going to do as you suggested, and see how each individual layer works, and go from there. Thanks again Alex
