The problem you are seeing is covered in the "READ BEFORE FLYING" file that was included with your Download. The Configuration manager allows you to switch between models of the 747-400 and the 747-8. You must run the Configuration Manager as Administrator in order for the changes to be saved so Right Click on the Config Manger and select "Run as Administrator" from the drop down menu and then it should save your changes properly.

This does not work,I am really getting frustrated over this issue.
