Performance editor: First impressions from a low end user

On my core 2 duo system, lowering texture res on either or both did not bring a significant increase in performance, however, lowering gauge resolution gave me a few more frames, the downside is that it was blurry to the point that I found it uncomfortable to look at, like my eyes were straining to bring it in to focus. I've gone back to the higher res gauges. Overall with the service pack, I am getting smoother performance, but I wanted to give the feedback on the low res gauges and see if others were experiencing the same. Thanks again, PMDG

My FPS is even lower with the new SP1. I will try tomorrow, after a defrag and clean up of my PC.
