Hi folks can anyone help?I have trouble in getting T. Kwong Hong Kong Intl. to work correctly.1) what does this means? I emailed the author yet but at the moment i'm still waiting for an answerhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/59828.jpg2) using a specific AFCAD2 file, while waiting for a takeof clearance i can ear tower saying too many go-around: how can this happen?3) i have never been able to take off from Rwy 7L without causing FS2004 crash to desktop: anyone? Thanks in advance for any inputLuigi ;-)

It's all those chickens ....Are you flying FS2002 or FS2004?I know you'll get an answer from Thomas soon, and in any case I can't answer your query on that; particularly as I don't know what AFCAD file you are using and what flights you have added in to your sim for AI.I can make one comment about the crash ... have you installed Eddie Chan's autogen for Hong Kong? If you have, make sure you have installed his FS2004 version (see my site, below, for details) as the FS2002 version, when installed in FS2004, causes a CTD.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg

Hi Mark, and thanks for posting.I checked my .bgl and it's called Hong Kong 2004.bgl; just a suspect.....i didn't create as suggested a dedicated entry in scenery.cfg file but simply put that file into fs2004scenerybasescenery folder :-(. Maybe i should move it into fs2004addon sceneryscenery folder?Anyway if you check my last World Tour leg you'll see HK buildings while on downwind for Rwy 7L; and had no crash at all while landing there!Later onLuigi ;-)

<<<<>>That's Eddie's latest, alright. Hmmmm ... I'm no expert on file placement but it may be that if you tried moving it, you might find the problem gone. It could be to do with what layer you have it at in your SCENERY.CFG, not sure; is your BASE folder low down in the stack? Good luck! Let us know if you move it and things then work!Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg

Hi Mark. That move didn't sort out anything!BUT.........if i rename that .bgl as bgX FS2004 doesn't crash anymore; now what i have to try is creating a new folder for those skycrapers ;-)I'll check and report ASAPLuigi ;-)

Try moving the slider for 'Traffic' in settings to 50%.If it burns Kerosene and makes a noise, I'm interested.

Luigi, I got your mail but deleted it by accident. Regarding your first problem, I've fixed it, but will not release the update until I fix and add other things as well. I'd much prefer to release 1 update than to release 5 or 6. I don't know how long it's going to take though. As for crashes when you takeoff from 7L, I have no idea why it's happening. Did you do full or partial install of FS2004?Mark, Did you ever manage to get the CLK scenery to work? I'm starting to consider abandoning CLK altogether, the project is taking up way too much time and frankly, I've lost interest!Thomas

Hopefully we can get you on other minds!!For years I have used your scenery in FS2000, FS2002 and now FS2004 with great pleasure! Never even thought about buying the commercial version of Hong Kong. Since PSS is not supporting B747 in FS2004 I have not used Hong Kong that much in FS2004 at its fullest. Just waiting for the first good B747 in FS2004 (either PSS or PMDG).I also

ThomasNever lose interest!!Hong Kong is a favourite place of mine - both old and new - reminds me of numerous happy visits.I have downloaded each of yor previous scenaries and eagerly await new offerings when I hear they are bubbling along.RegardsAndy b

Thomas<<>>>Do you mean CLK or Kai Tak? If the former, I have it installed without problem, yes, although I hadn't spotted what Luigi is talking about; and Kai Tak, yes, I've tried your old version and apart from some holes in the taxiway at a couple of points it seems to function well enough in FS2004.But if you're saying you want to abandon your Kai Tak rebuild .... have you ANY idea how many people are hoping for that, LOL? As far as the community is concerned, I think we'd wait forever as long as we knew it was coming; I do hope you don't give it up, Thomas, I really do. If it's too much for you singlehanded, how about some sort of cooperation with Roger Mole or something of that nature? Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg
