I recently reinstalled my flightsim pc and tried yesterday to install FSX deLuxe edtion : nothingTried the dvd on several computers to no avail. Today I phoned Microsoft to see whether I could get a replacement dvd. I could but it would cost me 24 euros. I guess I will have to pay this, pirated software is not to my taste.Nothing you guys can do, I know, but I just wanted to vent my frustration.

If you have room on your hard drive - make a folder on your desktop and try to copy and paste all the files from the CD (unless its damaged) and try to install from the folder. There will possibly be a setup file somewhere and if u cannot find it look inside th autorun.ini file and see which file starts the setup.dmb

In addition, check your event viewer and see if there was an error message. If there's an error message, google it and see if you can find a solution.Best regards,Jim

First thing I tried but they wouldn't copy.However I discovered I can get the Gold edition (with accelerator) for only 28 euro's so I'll probably go that way.
