rain effects on windscreen???

Featured Replies

Anyone know of any aircraft that have this effect, apart from the fs2004 default aircraft????? thanks steve

I believe aircraft developers are still waiting for the aircraft SDK from Microsoft in order to learn how this new feature works. I'm not sure it's possible using the current FS2002-era tools.

thx billapreciate the info about the SDK..love the effect, wondered why noone had used it.... best wishes steveUK

This is why I'm holding off buying most planes (except the ones I REALLY want) until this elusive SDK is out. If applying the effect requires a lot of work, and some developers decide not to upgrade their planes for those effects, the aircraft collection ends up only being halfway FS2004 compatible. When you fly from the VC 90% of the time, and you can't get the rain effects, it is a big deal. The lack of rain effects and the buggy autogen are my two biggest problems with FS2004. That's why I now fly in sunshine over third-party sceneries :D

I guess I don't notice it not being there since I don't fly the defaults! From what I read in another post FSD has this implemented in their aircraft, but are not able to release it yet.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VACougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviation[link:www.cgrmthelos.com]Cougar Mountain Helicopters
