Moving around the VC Panel - not working

Featured Replies

I used to be able to move up/down/left/right in the Virtual Cockpit by using the corresponding arrow keys on my keyboard (possibly on the Numeric Keypad, with or without NumLock, I don't recall now). Now this doesn't work, with any of the arrow keys, Numeric Keypad or main Keyboard, NumLock On or Off. I can pan around, but only from the perspective of the captain's seat - I can't shift my viewpoint position. This was really useful - how would I get the feature back?Martin

Hi Martin.Have you tried the free F1 View module? This allows you to use your mouse wheel to scroll forward/backward, plus left/right when holding down the Ctrl key, and up/down when holding down the Shift key. It also provides a very smo-o-oth zooming action in external spot view. It's here http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library;)

I have seen that in the past but had forgotten all about it - have just downloaded it and will try it out.I realised after posting that the reason that I cannot move in the VC cockpit any more is that I do not now have Active Camera installed - I may reinstall that, but it gave me some problems in Windows 7 I seem to recall (but maybe incorrectly). Thanks for the reply,MartinLATER: Installed it and it works fine (F1 View, not AC!). Thanks for the heads up!!
