November 4, 201114 yr I used to be able to move up/down/left/right in the Virtual Cockpit by using the corresponding arrow keys on my keyboard (possibly on the Numeric Keypad, with or without NumLock, I don't recall now). Now this doesn't work, with any of the arrow keys, Numeric Keypad or main Keyboard, NumLock On or Off. I can pan around, but only from the perspective of the captain's seat - I can't shift my viewpoint position. This was really useful - how would I get the feature back?Martin Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
November 4, 201114 yr Hi Martin.Have you tried the free F1 View module? This allows you to use your mouse wheel to scroll forward/backward, plus left/right when holding down the Ctrl key, and up/down when holding down the Shift key. It also provides a very smo-o-oth zooming action in external spot view. It's here http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library;)
November 4, 201114 yr Author I have seen that in the past but had forgotten all about it - have just downloaded it and will try it out.I realised after posting that the reason that I cannot move in the VC cockpit any more is that I do not now have Active Camera installed - I may reinstall that, but it gave me some problems in Windows 7 I seem to recall (but maybe incorrectly). Thanks for the reply,MartinLATER: Installed it and it works fine (F1 View, not AC!). Thanks for the heads up!! Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
