December 15, 201114 yr actually i found this thread because i was wondering the same question.i need to experiment with it more ... on two occiasions i definitely had voxatc give me an incorrect runway that seemed based on the cruise winds i had around 80nm out... in one case the chosen rwy was almost 180 degrees from the airport winds and ended up vectoring me to land with a 25knot tailwind..i think it might be possible to rectify this with the right settings tho.. i was looking here to see if there were specific settings that worked, such as forcing destination atc wind lock. (this shouldn't matter if the ai craft are generated?) and also maybe the force destination wx zone? or was it some setting in fsuipc since i think rc4 fixed this without a patch, it was some change in fsuipc? does that even apply to voxatc?anyway...seems like not a huge deal since you can still request other rwys... most of the time i get a runway that at least sort of makes sense...but it sort of negates the coolness of getting a proper star from the transition right to the ground.cheers,-andy crosby
