Well I guess we couldn't expect such a great service to be free forever, especially in light of the current economic downturn and the further economic issues being threatened if EU countries remove themselves from the Euro. I'd gladly pay a small fee for the service, but I truly hope it would be less than a few dollars a month. The cost of developing them cannot be much more than developing them for paper, seeing as most cartography is developed on computers to start with these days.
