November 18, 201114 yr Hello,I am having some very minor problems with the NGX, and I thought I might mention them to see if there is any solutions or if anyone else has experienced them. One problem is with the parking brake. It is supposed to release when you push on the toe-brakes. Mine will do that once per flight. After that it will not release with the toe-brakes again until I load a new flight. The other is that today after I landed and parked, my engines stayed running after I shut off the engines with the cut-off levers. I could see that the cut-off levers were off in the VC, but the engine gauges on the engine display showed that they were still running and you could hear them. The parking brake problem has been consistent for a long time. The engines running after the cut-off levers are down, is a new problem and has only happened one time, so it may be a fluke, so I'm not too worried about it.Thank you,Bob Robert Yunque
November 18, 201114 yr Hello BobSome times and I think due to the sophistication of the NGX, unexplainable malfunctions could happen, for me engine 2 fail to start no matter what I do, APU wont disengage and pressurization alarm could trigger without any reason, it happens at 1% or less of flights I made, my humble opinion is that, it happens because of some errors loading FSX or the flight, it doesn't happen all the time and it could have 100s of causes (miss-compatibility or even temperature). What I do is to try to keep my computer in shape(no matter how up to date it is) and remove unnecessary back ground activities or programs, start same flight with a default model, perform same activities as possible and finally load the NGX.I am mentioning that because I have never came across with the problems you mentioned, and many others problems specially related to similar configurations or hardware never happened on my system, I could of course be wrong.Best of luck Alaa A.
