December 2, 201114 yr Just an update, I went with the ASUS P8P67 EVO, $159 from Fry's Electronics. It worked from the very first boot, and no issues so far. Updated the bios and went straight away to overclocking back to 5.0 Ghz, which it seems to have no issue with. Shane Gavin
December 2, 201114 yr Hard to beat ASUS for quality and bullet proof reliability. My first SB board, a top of the line MSI something or other, failed to even boot once. Newegg took it back at their cost so am a bit gun shy of anything else but ASUS since then.Kind regards,
