Hi,Just wondered what the start up sequence is to make sure the departure runway is the same as the wind determines on startup.I always check weather at dep and arr airports before I start my fs and ASE. My dep and arr runways are known even before I start up the 2 programs.It always seems however when I'm ready to leave the chocks, even though the weather depiction is accurate, the ai aircraft and atc are sometimes using a different runway. Just to pre-empt some replies, I know that sometimes at some places you are not governed by wind alone. This is not the case I am talking about though.How do you do it guys, any guidance appreciated.Graham

It seems that whenever there is a cross wind of just a few knots the default rwy is always chosen. Otherwise I always set up my weather engine first. Then load the sim, then direct the sim to the departure airport, check that the weather engine has identified that. And only then do i "fly now"!vololiberista

HiI have seen some crazy things with runways, winds and ATC. It all stopped when I started to load the flighplan into ASE. Then suddenly AI and ATCmade sense. I use RC4, PMDG 737NGX, UT2 and ASE in DWC and they all work great together. But if I forget to load the flightplan into ASE things starts to get crazy. Also at the arr. airport everyone is landing/takeoff in the same direction if flightplan loaded, if not wild west is there.Just my observations. Always load your flightplan into ASE/Per WSweden

I now load ASE complete with dep and arr airports submitted even before I start fs9 now. Fingers crossed all runway assignments have been correct for the last 6 flights.Thanks everyone .Graham
