November 28, 201114 yr I am currently working out prices for a new rig to run FSX having been meaning to make the switch from FS9 for a while now. I have come up with the following list of parts and wonder if they are good or is there anything I don't need that I could save on.One important thing is that with the prices of HDDs going up massively due to the Thailand floods I have been strongly recommended to look at SSD drives instead of HDDs. From the list above I could substitute the HDD in the list with an SDD. The thing is I am not sure what size I would need to get for FSX as I would obviously plan to add quite a bit of payware to it over the next years and I have no idea how large the file size would get. Any advice on this? I currently have a 1TB 7200rpm HDD in my computer that I could put into the new build for Windows 7 OS and other general files so as not to fill up the SDD.Thanks for you help.Andy S
