November 28, 201114 yr Author Thank you for that, great website and defo reasonable prices, would that hardware run pmdg's new 737 Ngx in FSX reasonable well? Because that's the plane I want to fly when I get sorted with a new machine. RegardsPaul Regards Paul EGCC
November 28, 201114 yr It would indeedy. Been meaning to get the NG meself, but have a load of similar payware on my system (in my sig) which is slightly below that I've listed for you due to the graphics card. November 28, 201114 yr Author Ok thanks Charlatan, at least now I have an idea of what to order. Many thanks RegardsPaul Regards Paul EGCC
November 28, 201114 yr Great listI would go with this GPU though, and a better mobo like this: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-p8p67rev30-intel-p67-s-1155-ddr3-sata-iii-6gb-s-sata-raid-pcie-20-%28x16%29-atx That would total £435add a PSUa caseand a HDDfor £660You could save some more in the case & HDD. Do you also need the OS?
November 28, 201114 yr Author Yes would need a OS, which OS should I get? I'll need someone to put all this together tooRegards Paul Regards Paul EGCC
November 28, 201114 yr Good sound advice from Dazz there Paul. You want Win 7 64bit (don't bother with ultimate, get the cheapest). You can build it yourself, loads of guides on the web. It builds like lego P3D v4.5 MSFS2020 Hisense 50" 4K TV Ryzen 9600x 64gb DDR5 6000mhz, Asrock B650m HDV/M.2 Gigabyte 16gb 9070XT, Thermalright Aqua Elite 240mm 2TB NVMe Boot/FS2020 Drive, 2TB NVMe P3D Drive. November 28, 201114 yr Do they have a building service at Scan? Also, I guess overclock is out of the question, so maybe and overclocked bundle would save some money?Problem is we are now at 735 pounds or something like that. That's without shipping fees
November 28, 201114 yr The new hard disk prices are killing builds at the mo P3D v4.5 MSFS2020 Hisense 50" 4K TV Ryzen 9600x 64gb DDR5 6000mhz, Asrock B650m HDV/M.2 Gigabyte 16gb 9070XT, Thermalright Aqua Elite 240mm 2TB NVMe Boot/FS2020 Drive, 2TB NVMe P3D Drive. November 28, 201114 yr Author Thanks guys, plenty to think about there then, there's a few computer shops around we're I live so maybe I will get a price off them to see how much they would charge me to put alll this together or like you say do it myself. Cheers everyoneRegards Paul Regards Paul EGCC
November 28, 201114 yr If you need to lower that budget and you won't be overclocking, you could get an I5 2400 (CPU) an H61 or H67 motherboard, a Cooler Master Elite 430 (case) and remove the CM 212 CPU cooler from the list.
