I am on a serious budget here but I desperately. would like to get a new pc and I am going to get one built. I have approx 600 pounds to spend, is that enough? Good sound advice from Dazz there Paul. You want Win 7 64bit (don't bother with ultimate, get the cheapest). You can build it yourself, loads of guides on the web. It builds like lego

Do they have a building service at Scan?Also, I guess overclock is out of the question, so maybe and overclocked bundle would save some money?Problem is we are now at 735 pounds or something like that. That's without shipping fees

If you need to lower that budget and you won't be overclocking, you could get an I5 2400 (CPU) an H61 or H67 motherboard, a Cooler Master Elite 430 (case) and remove the CM 212 CPU cooler from the list.
