  1. I have a quest 3, all you need is a good wifi connection and virtual desktop and thats it...works flawlessley....dont bother with a cable link ..waste of money
  2. I love the Fenix... its fantastic but my pc struggles to cope with it for some reason, both PMDG 737 & 777 are supper smooth and also the fly by wire A320N is super smooth too but the Fenix....oh no...stutter fest...........cant understand it.....my pc isnt that bad....is it?? 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700F @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz / 32GB Ram / Nvidia 3060 card Regards Paul EGCC
  3. in the UK here and had about 15 connection/not connected messages in the past 30 mins....bloody riduclous
  4. PMDG 777... love it...flying nothing else at the moment!
  5. And it’s the 757 bluebird are making isn’t it…. And that’s a very modern Flightdeck isn’t it….. Not!🙄
  6. You want to fly this baby in VR, looks great to me....it is Unbelievable....you have a real sense of being in the flightdeck....absoulutley awesome!👍
  7. 800 dollars … that’s not affordable is it, I’m sure it’s good but to most people I wud say 200 dollars is about right
  8. Tobi might be great but I’ll tell you guys… VR is we’re the immersion is bigtime! Can never go back to 2D now.
  9. Update is great, better performance for me...question......when will I be able to use my Airbus Thrustmaster joystick and assign my buttons so I can control the heading, altitude etc instead of fumbling around with the mouse?? I thought that was coming?? Thanks
  10. I hadn’t even put a VR headset in ever up until Christmas just gone, I borrowed the children’s Meta Quest 3 what they got for Christmas just for an hour …… well …. Nearly 2 months on now and I haven’t flown a single flight on my 42” monitor since and I never will ever again … VR is extremely immersive I tell you…. Once you put that headset on you are sat inside the Flightdeck, you really are. …. you can stick the monitors in the bin. Now the thing is you need a good system to get it running smoothly etc…. Now I have a i7 high end processor 32gb ram with a nvidia 306024gb card and the visuals inside the flit deck are ok, they are not crystal clear as they are on my monitor but I put up with it because of the immersion factor it’s just so worth it, it truely is. I run fs2020 through virtual desktop wirelessly, no cable for me, I bought a cable but sent it back as it didn’t make any difference to the visuals at all, everything is set on high in the sim. You will not regret VR but you will not want to go back to your monitor if your pc can’t run VR smoothly etc …”what you have never had you never miss” …. Once you have flown in VR that’s it! 😃👍✈️
  11. Well this past week I have bought p3d and I'm trying it out and I like it, it's far better than fsx, I too have the ixeg 737 for plane and I think it's fantastic, the best but I just get a bit frustrated with the weather in X plane so now I'm driving myself up the wall because I'm liking p3d soooo much especially with active sky, the weather is a big one for me for the immersion factor. Anyway will see what happens in the future, I guess I will fly both ...... Cheers. Regards Paul EGCC
  12. Hi Franz, I too AV kinda come over from X plane, I'm have had p3d installed now for just over a week and I really like it, it runs a lot smoother than fsx. I have installed a couple of or Orbx scenery without a hitch what I previously bought for fsx but now they come with the p3d installers. There is one thing I'm thinking of buying and that is Simplecam from http://www.aivlasoft.com/, I have the demo installed and it works really well and it's not expensive, but I too are going to take it slow, but up to now I'm giving p3d a good go 👍👍. Cheers Regards Paul EGCC
  13. You want to get a bloody grip scramjet, quite unbelievable, these guys ixeg have come up with this aircraft after 6 years, it is the best aircraft by far on any platform and your ranting on about this, bloodyhell lad, I tell you, get a bloody grip. Unbelievable. Regards Paul EGCC
  14. OBVIOUSLY it's a no brainer, ixeg WINS BIGTIME over the bloody lot of them, even the 767, I have em all and I have been flight simming for 20 years, nothing comes close to ixeg, nothing. Whoever brings out a new aircraft now have got their work cut out. I even think ixeg are a step ahead of pmdg, I really do but I know people will disagree. Regards Paul EGCC
  15. Go and buy ixeg's 737-300, you will not look back believe me, ixeg & X plane 10 that's all you need, unbelievable aircraft, and like you guys say X plane is getting better all the time. Regards Paul egcc
  16. I want the FF767 but I know as soon as the ixeg comes out the 767 will stay in the hanger so wud be a waste of money for me personally, BUT.....X-plane is coming on now, it really is getting there, X-plane will surpass th m in time in my opinion. I have been into flight sim since 1999 and GOD it's changed, it's going to be X-plane and prep 3D for the future for sure. ✈ Great hobby isn't it!!!
  17. Aerosofts Airbuses are MEGA, very easy to configure and I have no problems at all, you have to just learn, read, watch the videos, fantastic support and a fantastic product. I can't wait for the A330! Regards Paul EGCC
  18. Same, ......I am waiting and debating, I think X plane is the better sim and I'm waiting for a good quality aircraft with a nice VC and sounds etc, will wait another week or two I think, from the couple of videos I've seen it looks great! Regards Paul EGCC
  19. I've had the Leonardo MD80 for a number of years, it's fantastic but I find the vc needs updating bigtime and the sound too, but in its day it was mega! I am an X plane user now, awesome sim, and I'm waiting for this, it's looking very promising for sure... Go take a look at rotatesim.com. Regards Paul EGCC
  20. I won't be buying it...don't like old aircraft, I want modern. Will buy ixeg and rotatesim's MD80. Regards Paul EGCC
  21. I have this problem too, I just put up with it, my flights are usually no more than 2 or 3 hours in the 777 and I get a freeze usually when in cruise and it will last 5 to 10mins then everything goes back to normal, I've expect it now and I'm used to it but obviously if we could come up with a solution that would be great. I also have the freeze with Aerosoft Airbus A318/19, very frustrating. I'm probably going to give Prepar3D ago in a few weeks, getting tired now of FSX, I fly X-Plane 10 from time to time and it's just awesome, no problems whatsoever. Regards Paul EGCC
  22. Yeah a proper quality airliner with a proper looking virtual cockpit...pmdg standards
  23. Wish they would show more of the cockpit, after all that's were we spend all the time isn't it, I want to see how good the texturing is, glass reflections etc showing the outside of the plane doesent do it for me at all. I'm sure it will be awesome because the competition is going to heat up in 2015. Come on let's see another video of the office please Rotate!
  24. I am able to drag it over onto my second monitor but it won't resize, I need to make it smaller, it's too long you see for my monitor?? Thanks Paul
