June 15, 201411 yr Thanks for the heads up! I wasn't aware of another high quality airliner coming to X-Plane! I am glad to see that the community and the group of developers are growing steadily! ;-)
June 15, 201411 yr The MD-80 is one of my favorites in FSX, especially the Leonardo SH one. Looking forward to this rendering in X-Plane. Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. MSFS2020, XP-12, DCS
June 15, 201411 yr I never had a payware MD8 for any sim. This will be my first. Very interesting aircraft.
June 15, 201411 yr I like the M80. I haven't purchased a payware plane yet either. But looking at the Vitrual Cockpit, I'm sure this will be my first. Thanks for the heads up! I'll follow this thread and hope for an update when it's available for purchase. I'll update the thread myself if I catch the purchase availability first. -- L. James -- L. D. June 15, 201411 yr I'm so going to buy this - I love the MD-80! Hopefully Leonardo will get around to make the Maddog X, but it's now a year to date since the last forum update regarding this, so I'm not holding my breath:( The only thing the Maddog really needs, is 3D modelling and textures like the Rotate one, and it would be perfect! No small task - I know.Best regards, Kristoffer Best regards,Kristoffer Løkke-Sørensen
June 15, 201411 yr i know alot of people who play fsx want pmdg to do an updated version of md-80. if this comes out and is very high quality it might bring some people over to xplane
June 15, 201411 yr Yeah, well not to rain on anyone's parade but some screenshots & the word "coming" don't do poop for me. Ixeg has a very nice 737 "coming", like for 4 years... I wish these ppl would just advertise it when it is actually ready. -Roland

I also remember struggling with it at the beginning but found one of the best simulations in FSX because I stuck with it and learned how to use it properly. I'm looking forward to comparisons when this is finalized.
