Should I wait for X-Plane 11?
I will stay with XP 10 until 11 is out for a while and patched up to, let's say 11.4. I left XP 9 to early for a buggy 10. No more payed beta versions for me. XP at 10.5 RC is a good sim and fun and I want to keep the fun with all the great add ons working.

SkyMaxx 3.2 is out....
Best update ever, smooth as silk here.

High performance versions of World2XP ?
Yes, the 90's and PS1, golden age of flight simming.

10.45-RC1 is out....
José is a very respectable fellow simmer. It does not need a pilot license to describe the torque bug. Although being discussed so often it took a long time until LR reacted. Many payware add ons wait for a bug fix now because we can't run them through planemaker. It's a shame that we point fingers at other simulators and believe we have the best flight model. Until we can't use our planes we simply don't. I don't hold a pilot license. Common sense is sufficient.

FS9 restart
Yesterday I installed my plane. I purchased the Wilco A320 Evolution series. It was a hard decision between that one and the Ifly 737. I started with the Airbus because I flew one in X Plane and I'm used to it. First start of it in the SIM showed 100+ fps, everything maxed out. Today is key and buttons config day and if it all works, maybe the maiden flight tonight. FSRGW creates some nice clouds, no worry about how much of them and the impact on fps. Internal Airbus navdata updated to the newest cycle. Great so far.

FS9 restart
Easy solution found.

FS9 restart
Installed FS9 today. It does not start. No message. It simply doesn't start. Have to try again layer this week with a new installation.

FS9 restart
As far as I know Navigraph or whatever you use does not update the default FS9 database. It updates the database of your add ons, like FMC data. Yes, smoothness is what I'm looking for. My old i3 notebook runs X Plane but with minimal settings. A little bit more scenery would be nice. Too bad it's Monday and a busy week has started. I will report my progress here.

FS9 restart
Thanks a lot. The Ifly 737 looks good to me. All models included, wow, and so many repaints available. I don't have to care about outdated ILS frequencies because of the autotune feature. All I have to do is to purchase the 737. I own the current Navdata cycle. FSRGW is installed and that should me make good to go.

FS9 restart
Hi pilots, I've been an X Plane pilot for the last few years but I'm thinking about installing FS9 again. Here are some questions. What airliner A320 or B737 is nice to have, looking for payware that does not have too many bugs. How can I update my navdata? Looking for recent ILS and VOR frequencies. Any way to update fixes? Thank you.

Airliners and Auto-Land in X-Plane 10...
The main differences, Peter's busses don't show curved flight path on ND, no take off calculations, no entry of arrival and departure runway. You have to trade that in for a 3d flight office.

How to light this panel?
Enjoy the Saab, José. I don't use it often on my slow old rig but it's a fine plane.

Post-Fix... - Testing with three prop aircraft.
Die I get it right, you ran the MU-2 through Planemaker and it fixed the hard core torque effect? Did you change the trim settings before you saved it again? Thanks for your help.

X-Plane 10.45 beta 1 released: Torque bug finally fixed?
Well said, José.

FlightFactor Boeing 767 soon...
One of The best comparisons I ever heard of. Nothing to add.

The 'Two Camps' that flight simmer's align to...at 51 percent or greater usage...
20% GA and 80% airliner flying, so call me a number 2 guy. But wait, even 90% of my GA flights is IFR after a good preparation, flight plan, collecting charts and fuel calculation.

FS Global Real Weather for X-Plane 10.40
If I set all options to "ugly" I don't get the stutters. I don't have first class hardware but found my way to have a nice running XP using reasonable settings. There's something wrong with that weather tool. Official support does not help but you might try it. I would not advise to buy it as long as it's not sorted out.

SkyMaxx Pro v3 is Out
Finished my first flight. Better fps so I could tune my settings up a little bit. Looking better than 2.x, well spend 20 bucks.

SkyMaxx Pro v3 is Out
Same here. First class support.

Norway Pro (Work in Progress)
Looking good.

Using 8xSSAA+FXAA rendering
Thank you, I'll try that too.

FS Global Real Weather for X-Plane 10.40
"Sync to real time" unchecked. Result: Needs 60 minutes to start stuttering.

FS Global Real Weather for X-Plane 10.40
Setting up time and date. It's a tick box.

FS Global Real Weather for X-Plane 10.40
Do you mean sync to real time produces stutter in general, or while running Real Weather? I use that for a long time because I can't decide what time of day to start my flights. Too bad I start working a couple of night shifts today so I don't know when I'll be able to test and report. 13 hours night shift means work, sleep, eat and care for family and the animals. But I will test it. Many thanks.
