  1. I have stopped reading the X-Aviation forums for a good reason. Could we please stop to discuss X-Aviation download or activation problems here? Thanks.
  2. This is my first Aerobask product, what a great light jet. Fun to hand fly and capable of real IFR operations. Good job.
  3. Spend some more money today and took off or a 70$ flight. Departed on Peter's A320 from DDesign's KEWR. Enjoyed the NYC scenery until I hit the clouds and it felt just right. I'm not the guy for a technical report but I liked my flight a lot. At 18 local time I landed at DDesign's Miami. Great views at the scenery, it was almost dark. It was one of the best flights of a 20+ years summing career. Run to get it, it's worth the money.
  4. No weather update, no seasons... I'm happy with my XPX now, I have nice payware planes and scenery. No more beta cycle for me. If I need to spend money, I'll have a look at P3D instead. No, don't tell me about that license thing now... 😉
  5. I will stay with XP 10 until 11 is out for a while and patched up to, let's say 11.4. I left XP 9 to early for a buggy 10. No more payed beta versions for me. XP at 10.5 RC is a good sim and fun and I want to keep the fun with all the great add ons working.
  6. Yes, the 90's and PS1, golden age of flight simming.
  7. Although I do not have much time these days I couldn't resist and purchased the 733. Looking forward to many nice flights. Printing everything now. This bird deserves a printed manual.
  8. If XP would have a working ATC, we would not have to discuss that. I don't use ATC because it's broken. Before flight I use FSRGW to download static weather and I take notes of departure and arrival weather. Easy, to change the barometic setting in the sim. But isn't that another cheat? Nothing wrong about a "b" key. It does not make you a worse sim pilot.
  9. José is a very respectable fellow simmer. It does not need a pilot license to describe the torque bug. Although being discussed so often it took a long time until LR reacted. Many payware add ons wait for a bug fix now because we can't run them through planemaker. It's a shame that we point fingers at other simulators and believe we have the best flight model. Until we can't use our planes we simply don't. I don't hold a pilot license. Common sense is sufficient.
  10. José, Please ask Hardy to sell his "weather injector" as a stand allone ap.
  11. Yesterday I installed my plane. I purchased the Wilco A320 Evolution series. It was a hard decision between that one and the Ifly 737. I started with the Airbus because I flew one in X Plane and I'm used to it. First start of it in the SIM showed 100+ fps, everything maxed out. Today is key and buttons config day and if it all works, maybe the maiden flight tonight. FSRGW creates some nice clouds, no worry about how much of them and the impact on fps. Internal Airbus navdata updated to the newest cycle. Great so far.
  12. Installed FS9 today. It does not start. No message. It simply doesn't start. Have to try again layer this week with a new installation.
  13. As far as I know Navigraph or whatever you use does not update the default FS9 database. It updates the database of your add ons, like FMC data. Yes, smoothness is what I'm looking for. My old i3 notebook runs X Plane but with minimal settings. A little bit more scenery would be nice. Too bad it's Monday and a busy week has started. I will report my progress here.
  14. Thanks a lot. The Ifly 737 looks good to me. All models included, wow, and so many repaints available. I don't have to care about outdated ILS frequencies because of the autotune feature. All I have to do is to purchase the 737. I own the current Navdata cycle. FSRGW is installed and that should me make good to go.
  15. Hi pilots, I've been an X Plane pilot for the last few years but I'm thinking about installing FS9 again. Here are some questions. What airliner A320 or B737 is nice to have, looking for payware that does not have too many bugs. How can I update my navdata? Looking for recent ILS and VOR frequencies. Any way to update fixes? Thank you.
  16. The main differences, Peter's busses don't show curved flight path on ND, no take off calculations, no entry of arrival and departure runway. You have to trade that in for a 3d flight office.
  17. Enjoy the Saab, José. I don't use it often on my slow old rig but it's a fine plane.
  18. Die I get it right, you ran the MU-2 through Planemaker and it fixed the hard core torque effect? Did you change the trim settings before you saved it again? Thanks for your help.
  19. One of The best comparisons I ever heard of. Nothing to add.
  20. I like it Airbus style but this is an instant purchase. I was waiting for something different. Sorry IXEG.
  21. 20% GA and 80% airliner flying, so call me a number 2 guy. But wait, even 90% of my GA flights is IFR after a good preparation, flight plan, collecting charts and fuel calculation.
