  1. Hello all, 10.50 was officially released, as the rc3 was declared final who have installed it in the past shouldn't receive the message about the new version.
  2. Hi Andreas, you should attach (no copy/paste) your log.txt so we can check the error (don't forget that this file is overwritten at each run, so you must attach it before to run again the simulator). I can imagine which package are you speaking about and it miss some of the most used libraries, you must check as first what the scenery developer say about the prerequisites.
  3. Confirmed on Mac (tried with Mavericks and El Capitan).
  4. Ok, got it: already checked x-csl?
  5. Forgive the question, but 'improve the aircraft models' or 'increase aircraft number'? To increase the number go to Aircraft->Aircraft & Situations->Other Aircraft and set the number of your choice (up to 20, the bigger the number the bigger the hit on the frame rate), but if you really meant to improve the aircraft models I'm not sure what you're talking about.
  6. Program Files or every other system folder, no matter which one. Put the root folder of X-Plane on desktop, on C:\ root, everywhere you want but not in any system folder in order to avoid authorisation issues (yes, you can get them even if you launch the simulator running it as administrator).
  7. Mmmmm, perhaps a new subscriber really do need a minimum number of posts before to be able to attach a file, but I do not find anything specific into the FAQs... try to copy and paste only the first 15/20 lines of the log, you should be able do to that.
  8. X-Plane doesn't care, operating system do... if you put X-Plane root folder inside any system folder you'll have very easily authorisation issues and, therefore, problems with the simulator. @pb1059: you have to attach the file, not copy/paste it... click on 'more reply options', after that under the text box where you write your post you'll see a section named 'Attach Files', choose the log click on 'attach this file' button and, lastly, click on 'add to post'.
  9. Hello and thanks for the head up! For your convenience that thread was opened even here, it will be updated at the same time just like we are doing so with the MD-82/83.
  10. Not only. As per the problem(s) listed by the OP I'd think to an installation done into some system folders where authorisation issues could be involved. @pb1059: can you please attach (no copy/paste) your log.txt? You find it in the root folder of X-Plane.
  11. Hello, the dataref for fuel flow is an array (8 elements), type is float: sim/flightmodel/engine/ENGN_FF_ (note the _ after FF). First engine is sim/flightmodel/engine/ENGN_FF_[0], flow is measured in kg/second. Can't be more precise as I don't use XPUIPC so I'm not specifically into the configuration file, sorry.
  12. Sure: click on the 'More Reply Options' button, then under the text box on the left you'll see the 'Attach Files' section, choose the file, click on the 'Attach This File' button and then click on the 'Add to Post' link (under the text box but on the right) in order to insert the attachment into your post.
  13. Hello Steve, it seems that something goes wrong with the installation, please attach (no copy/paste) your log.txt in order to check the problem. AlfaMike
  14. That rule is only for PMDG forums, or something was changed?
