X-Plane 10.50 is officially released
Hello all, 10.50 was officially released, as the rc3 was declared final who have installed it in the past shouldn't receive the message about the new version.

Error message when entering a scenery section
Hi Andreas, you should attach (no copy/paste) your log.txt so we can check the error (don't forget that this file is overwritten at each run, so you must attach it before to run again the simulator). I can imagine which package are you speaking about and it miss some of the most used libraries, you must check as first what the scenery developer say about the prerequisites.

Vatsim traffic
Ok, got it: already checked x-csl?

Vatsim traffic
Forgive the question, but 'improve the aircraft models' or 'increase aircraft number'? To increase the number go to Aircraft->Aircraft & Situations->Other Aircraft and set the number of your choice (up to 20, the bigger the number the bigger the hit on the frame rate), but if you really meant to improve the aircraft models I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Windows 10 Issues?
Program Files or every other system folder, no matter which one. Put the root folder of X-Plane on desktop, on C:\ root, everywhere you want but not in any system folder in order to avoid authorisation issues (yes, you can get them even if you launch the simulator running it as administrator).

Windows 10 Issues?
X-Plane doesn't care, operating system do... if you put X-Plane root folder inside any system folder you'll have very easily authorisation issues and, therefore, problems with the simulator. @pb1059: you have to attach the file, not copy/paste it... click on 'more reply options', after that under the text box where you write your post you'll see a section named 'Attach Files', choose the log click on 'attach this file' button and, lastly, click on 'add to post'.

How to get fuel flow from XPUIPC
Hello, the dataref for fuel flow is an array (8 elements), type is float: sim/flightmodel/engine/ENGN_FF_ (note the _ after FF). First engine is sim/flightmodel/engine/ENGN_FF_[0], flow is measured in kg/second. Can't be more precise as I don't use XPUIPC so I'm not specifically into the configuration file, sorry.

That rule is only for PMDG forums, or something was changed?

Very long load times
15 minutes is indeed a very long time: a great number of custom sceneries could and couldn't be the reason by itself, is it possible that you have some plugin(s) that check for every custom scenery at startup (such Airport Navigator)? Have you already tried to remove (remove, not disable) every added plugin in order to check if load time is reduced?

Safe to delete or remove default aircraft?
Usually this happen when you start the simulator and the latest aircraft you used is no longer available (corrupted, moved, deleted and so on), so X-Plane open the default one instead (C172 now, 180 Avant previously).

10.50b is out!
I see you've already experienced this so no need to confirm it. Luckily I'm used to make a copy of the previous beta installation so I can safely (more or less, looking at the bug list) rollback the 10.50 to the beta 2.

Moving from Macbook Pro to windows 10 gaming Laptop
As Mike already told you you can do that, just remember to download the latest version of the installer and use it to do the upgrade (do not use the one on the dvd).

Is it safe to upgrade to 10.5b?
Thank you Jim, so no need to send a bug report.

Is it safe to upgrade to 10.5b?
Yes, lights 'always on' is a known bug, it should be fixed in b3. I'm wondering about the size, though.
-
10.50b is out!
Exactly, sent a bug report about this early today.

I have CTSs with a clean installation, no external plugins/aircrafts, bug reports already sent. Deep testing is in progress.
