I'm finding that if I load in a complex model aircraft, with detailed cockpit etc, I am more likely to get a crash... before the crash I always get a LOAD of HD activity, it doesn't happen all the time, but happened once this morning on intial load.I also had a system crash yesterday when I opened up Internet Explorer and it rebooted my ENTIRE OS!! Whats the cause of that?? Could the 2 be related??My memory has tested out OK, and I have no driver conflicts, XP Pro is all upto date, and using all WHQL certified driversChris

Chris:A lot of the complex aircraft have to be loaded with the 2D panel up. If you are trying to load with the 3D(VC) panel up they will cause FS to crash. Get in the habit of always being in the 2D panel before you make any aircraft changes. If your startup flight is with the 3D panel, switch to the 2D panel before loading your aircraft of choice maxsdad
